BJP will soon fulfill its promise to give statehood back to J&K like it did in the case of abrogation of Article 370 and those getting restless over the issue need not to worry or spread misinformation by concocting false narratives since this party will never compromise on its principles.
This was asserted by senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta in statement issued here on Sunday. Referring to Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement just before the passage of The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha, Kavinder said that entities having nationalist ideologue have no doubt over BJP government’s intention with regard to statehood, dignified return of KPs back to Valley by 2022 or giving befitting reply to enemies across LoC and LAC but those raising doubts on PM Narendra Modi led government belong to that political class in J&K which used to blackmail successive central dispensations at their whims and fancies, and were apparently appeared to be more inclined towards enemies of the nation. He said that days of blackmailing are over now with a strong government steering India. “PM Modi led government has shown the mirror to the so called ‘regional’ parties which befooled both the people of J&K and those sitting at helm in Centre for the past over 70 years by using tacit blackmailing tactics on one pretext or another. But the dark era of intimidation set in by these political entities has now gone and people have started reaping the fruits of development and showing keenness in the political recourse. The best example for which is the DDC polls that exposed the ‘white lies’ projected by the NC, PDP and even Congress in the past that people will not participate in electoral process”, said Kavinder adding that successful installation of Panchayati Raj in J&K has vindicated BJP’s stand that people of J&K are longing for peace but the local leadership is stopping them by creating hurdles only to satiate their personal vested interests. He said that no power on earth can stop BJP from creating a J&K which will be capable enough to fulfill all the aspirations and desires of people with nothing stopping them from enjoying the fruits of peace, progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, the former Deputy Chief Minister visited Ward No 21 in Gandhi Nagar Constituency and took stock of the issues pertaining to the masses.
The senior BJP leader listened to their issues keenly and assured them that their problems will be solved immediately after being taking up with the concerned heads.
Later, the senior BJP leader distributed Golden Cards among the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Sehat Scheme. He also appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration while carrying out different developmental works across Jammu.
Among others who were present include BJP District President Vinay Gupta, Rajiv Charak, Baldev Baloria, Lucky Puri, Narinder Koki, Indu Bhushan Sharma, Varun Sharma, Ankush Dogra, Arvind Gupta, Abhinandan and Bharadwaj.
